Is there anywhere locally (SA or San Marcos) that has this stuff? Can I just walk into a home depot and have them cut this or..?

I need some to cover the bottom of my 10 gallon tank.

Is it sold by the foot or can they custom cut?

they will custom cut it to the size you need, just call ahead and they will let you know when it is ready. they close at 5 i believe and are not open on the weekends.

Thanks! When sizing how much I need should I got exactly the same dimensions as the footprint or a bit smaller so that it fits in nicely?

i would make it a little smaller, but if it doesnt fit, you can always cut it down a bit with a table saw

For the size you need, they sell this stuff at HEB as a cutting board. You'll have to cut it to size.

Yep. High Density Polyester. About 1/2 inch thick. Same thing for those thin flexible ones in different colors.
