Any thoughts on how to join polycarbonate to PET, basically the material used to make soda bottles?

Ghetto fabulous air-stone protein skimmer. I actually am using the tube from a gravel vacuum in an Ocean Spray Cran-Pomegranite bottle with an air pump supplying a limewood airstone. Just experimenting.

Ive added super glue gel to prevent flexing (it won't actually hold the tubing that well, but will create a rigid rim). Then go over it with silicone to hold and make air tight.
