Well, apparently red and green are not good lights to have flashing on your MP40s controller. My prop spins no problem, but I still have the flashing red and green. Anyone else have this? I contacted Ecotech on RC already, hoping for the best!

I'd probably just call them directly rather than post on a forum. Wouldn't a call seem faster?
Before calling I would probably check their online trouble shooting guide here:

I thought there was some kind of diagnostic test that would reset it if that happened. When my driver got wet it went to a red only flashing light. No fix for that other than a new controller.

Yeah, they're closed for the weekend. :( The red and green means something isn't working, but the wetside is fine. I may have to disassemble it just to make sure.

So did you do the obvious: turn it off, take the wetside out, clean it, turn it back on?

Did it just go back to flashing after that?

Yeah, I did the obvious already. Gonna take it out and tinker here in a few. :)

We have had that when a wet side was dirty, so had an issue spinning. I cleaned it and fiddled with it and got it working. What type is it? We just upgraded our mp20 to the new 40 wireless and our drivers on our 40s to wireless. We have those two 2nd gen boards if some mechanical issue inside.

Erik, I'm trying to remember if I had the red and green lights flashing. I know I had an issue where the controller and I did not get a long for a while. I had to factory reset the unit and it worked fine. I know you said you did the obvious, but did you do a reset/calibration?

My red/green issue had to be returned to them to be fixed. Are you running it with a battery backup? Sometimes the battery has issues, try and unplug it if you can.

Looks like it needs to be sent in. I cleaned it reset it and still got the red and green. I paired the wetside with a different pump and it works, so that eliminates the wetside from being the culprit...

Bummer.
:(
I know some people said they didn't get a good response but I had fantastic support from them. Chatted with the guy on the phone and he got my number wrong and tracked me down on the internet to get back to me!
He sent me new parts and in the end I figured out my problem was due to user error (me!)
I hope you have a good experience as well.
