Your MAAST TOTM Committee welcomes you to the official TOTM Contest Forum!
This thread is to explain the basics of how the program works. If you have questions, let us know. We are currently planning for the entire year! So don’t miss out, get your nominations submitted NOW!
Objective
To highlight and give recognition to good representations of a wide range of tank types in the hobby.
Eligibility
Need to be a Charter member to be eligible.
Any member in good standing can submit a nomination by completing the nomination template (see separate thread) and submitting nomination to the TOTM Committee Chair (BSJF) by PM.
No limit to the number of nominations a member can submit.
Members are encouraged to nominate themselves (since they know their tanks better than anyone).
BOD and their family members are eligible but will be limited to no more than two tanks highlighted in any 12 month period.
TOTM committee members and their family members are not eligible.
Recognition
Multi-page article with pictures posted on MAAST and facebook.
Presentation at a quarterly TOTM social, then posted on MAAST and facebook.
Dedicated thread in the MAAST TOTM forum with tank info where the owner can discuss and answer member’s questions about the tank.
A special something for you to honor your achievements.
Entered in MAAST Tank of the Year contest (winner selected by member poll)
Selection Process
Selection will be made by the TOTM Committee based on the nominations. Once a tank is selected for consideration, we will conduct an in-depth interview with the tank owner to get the complete story and further details.
