Anybody got an idea what kind of critters lays tiny little red eggs?
I first noticed them on the edges of dead caulerpa and was fearing a fungus but I just saw some on a powercord so it appears more like something is laying eggs.
What could it be?

Do you have a red starfish? I had one and it laid eggs all over my tank. Check it out. I made a video of it a long time ago.

WOW! That is super cool!
But way bigger than my eggs. Maybe mine is a fungus or algae or something. Nothing cool like starfish...

Karin, if it is a type of red velonia, I'd start getting rid of it as fast as you can. One of my tanks developed the kind that grows in sheets. It's a pain in the rear. Be sure to look at John's post in the Reef Cleaners section on different algaes.
