Drive to help Gabe out...

If you haven't heard he had some trouble recently with the store being broken into.

We are going to take up any donations that this community would like to send Gabe's way and we will match up to $200 of the total donated.


How to donate:

1) send a paypal donation to wetacrylic@gmail.com (http://www.maast.org/www.paypal.com) and make a note that it's for Gabe.

2) cash...meet up with us at one of our weekly Wednesday evening local pickups.



This drive will run from now... 01/21/2011 until 02/02/2011 at midnight.

Wow I really dont know what to say other than thank you to all of you.. I was praying real hard for a little bit of light in all this darkness but i had no idea it would be in this form.. Its real hard for me to express all the feelings in a post I guess I owe all of you a big hug...

Gabe, we all have our ups and downs. It's great when the club's members can look out for one another. I can think of a couple other times donations were collected for fellow reefers and I see this as being no different. You are very much a part of MAAST and it wouldn't be the same without yah.

Once this ends we will withdraw everything from PayPal and have sent to our account. Once we have the funds we will pick up a money order and title it: "Donations from the MAAST community" ...and have it sent over to Gabe.

I agree.... awesome to see such a sense of support among sponsors. Don't you love to see something so positive when you log in here? It is especially poignant because it is something so positive that came out of such a negative beginning.

Thanks to all who contributed to help Gabe out and to those that also helped in other ways not shown in this thread. It's great when the community can pull together to help someone out.

So the total donations equal $599.81 and all money has been withdrawn from our PayPal account and on the way to our bank account. We'll make it an even $600. I'll pick up a money order once the money is in our account and have it sent to Gabe on behalf of the MAAST community.

Let me know if I have any errors or if a donation was missed.

I'm sure Gabe will be able to put this money to good use and it will at least help him recoup some of his recent losses.
