Feb. 2011 MAAST/ARC Meeting

Stephen Thompson, txg8gxp, will be giving a LED presentation. As many of you know he has built DIY units and has become very familar with LEDs through this process. Now he would like to share that knowledge with you.

Aqua-Dome has also made it clear that everyone is welcome to come before 5 p.m. to check out the store but the presentation will start at that time.

Also, as the title suggest, Austin Reef Club has also been invited along so our Austin friends will be there as well. This ought to be a great event especially with LED's being such a hot topic recently.

It depends on which vehicle I take. If I take the truck I can fit 3 besides myself no problem - 4 if you like the person next to you. If I take the Wife's go kart then only 2 of us can fit. You are more then welcome to hitch a ride with me.

We'll be going for sure. Still trying to decide whether or not we might be going up early to hit some other favorite Austin stops but will post here about plans, available room in the car as it gets a little closer to the event date.

Yeah cant wait to see the Austin folks. Its been awhile. Plus it gives me an excuse to go to Aquadome along with brushing up my LED knowledge. Ought to be a good meeting.

Bumping it up! Its already going to be this Sunday! If you have never been to Aqua-Dome this is a great excuse to swing by. Plus it seems like alot of members from our sister club(ARC) will be there!
