i have a viper hqi and i am switching to a canopy. is there a way to wire a pendant to the viper ballast?

I assume the wattage is all correct ballast to the pendant? As long as the wattage is ok, and youre going HQI to HQI, you should be fine. The wire colors coming from your pendant HQI are what color? What about from the viper?

i havent opened the viper yet to sewe the wires but the pendant i got is also 70w hqi and it has 1 grey wire coming out of each side

one wire has black print on it and the other doesnt
