I did mine yesterday so I wouldn't have to do it today. My husband has this crazy idea that whatever you do on the first is what you'll do most of the new year and I figured clean tank and no chores would be preferable for the rest of the year

I am doing mine shortly. Filling the trash can now. It is going to be a major water change and tank cleaning for me this afternoon.

I was planning on doing a WC today, but I like this idea... Great excuse to be lazy. :) I'll probable be bored later anyway, though.

5 gallon water change and cleaned 3 powerheads and 2 pumps....need a nap!!!!

cleaned my skimmer/pump, vortech, return pump, reactor pump, frag racks in a vinager bath, 10g WC. also found time to replace my Wonderful G/F's radiator, hoses, thermostat. what a day!
