ok so I finally got to start over and do the stuff I wanted to but needed an excuse to tear down and start all over. I'm finally happy with rock work and most important with organization of equipment and wires.

T5 for now? You going LED or MH? How tall is the stand? looks like you you have a lot of room in there...kind of like my 85g stand which is 40" tall (DSA also).

New tanks are fun! Hopefully everything will transition to the t5's without any problems. No more cheato in the sump?

stand is 33". as for lights i would like to go back to a pendent lumearc or a sunlight supply, t5 or vho for actinic. my biggest concern is heat. I am trying to stay away from a chiller. the color is great from the t5 and the tank is staying at 77, i have 2 additional icecap fans in hood and extra Wally world one controlled by the RKL. no more cheato! I miss the shimmer so LED might be in the works.

Yeah I've been very happy with the T5s on the big tank but now that the seahorse tank has LEDs it does look a little dull without that 'shimmer'. Darn Stephen...

All this in hour half :applause: sorry pics are so blue but my iphone picks it up, need to get my buddy Cory over. also my algae prob has gone away, after talking with my buddy nick and reading on net: i think i found my prob i switched salts from reef crystals to kent marine(nothing else has changed in my tank except age of lights so who knows)

ok so I've been battling algae again, and bryopsis. my fault i let my bad habits foul my tank(slacking on water changes, other husbandry stuff). so i physically removed as much as I could, which included scrubbing inside and outside my overflow. i also put a fuge back in place.

this box has opening to skimmer area at bottom and water is from reactor with just carbon. still need to figure out another way to get flow into it may have bio pellet reactor feed into it also.

sold it last week.. ok so here's the story of the cap(with pics) I got it from mrcob when I had my cubes, then glued it to over flow when i got the 65. then when I got the 70g DSA Gabe was able to get it off with very lil breakage. after that I could never get it glues again so it just took up too much room, I have a frag that will be mounted again on the over flow.http://img.tapatalk.com/a6934f95-c073-8ad3.jpg
