Auqatinics TX5 (36 inch), T5 five bulb fixture/with bulbs $325 One is fairly new Blue plus style bulb,
and true actinic,
others I don't particularly remember what all types are in it.

Here are the specs from the Aquatinics sign, and picture of unit on top of tank is below.

Features:
Unique aluminum fixture design allows the fixture to be placed directly on top of tank without dramatically heating the water or fixture.
9.5" wide and 4.25" high.
All fixtures come with 98% reflectivity Miro Silver full-length individual reflectors for maximum light propagation.
Quiet dual ball bearing fan help displace heat away from the tank.
All aluminum construction for a light weight and ridged design.
All fixtures are powder coated for extended fixture life.
Two switches on fixture for dusk / dawn lighting or for reduced lighting applications. One switch for 3 of the lamps and one switch for 2 of the lamps. Also, separate power cords for each of the switches.
Splash shield keeps the bulbs safe while also helping to keep the heat away from the tank.

Could this be hung above tank? What were you able to keep under these?

I kept everything up to clams under them (after talking with Barry from clams direct to make sure). I'm just using the legs I purchased for setting in on any 36" tank that didn't give me as much spread as if I had them a little higher so I also had the GLO 2 bulb sitting in front of it after about a year. I was also very spoiled to a lot of light after having halides for years and it gave me the choice of adding more color spectrum having 7 bulbs rather than 5.
They sell the hanging kit for them at aquariumspecialty (http://www.aquariumspecialty.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1182) $28 or saltycritter (http://www.saltycritter) $24. I'd imagine you could also engineer one just as easy.

I've heard of people running 5 foot tanks on 4 footers and such but not something I'd probably want to try either as my main source of light.
I'd make a really crappy salesman.

I've been holding a light for several days w/ it marked "Pending YOU." I am reposting it for sale since you are obviously not as committed as you have been claiming to be.
