Is it normal for a gbta to stretch out its tentacles. His tentacles were bubbled the first day i got him now there all long and stretched out. he still looks happy though. I have had him for over a month and my clowns host it.

My bubble tip did at first then it stopped and seemed to be extending also. Then I got my new lights and now its back to being bubble tipped and has been for a while.

My green bubbles a lot, and has almost doubled in size in it's new location. I was looking at Todd's yesterday and it's six to seven inches around... About half was bubbled.
My other bta is always stretched out and not bubbled. The only time I've seen it uniformly bubbled was when it wasn't as happy after a long stint in the shadows. It reaches about 12" across, maybe 14" from tip to tip.
If I had to make a swag I'd say that when they're comfortable they stretch out without fear of something nipping their tentacles. But who knows?

cool. i was hoping that the clowns were not bothering it because they really get into it.also it doesnt look really green when its streched out.

iPhone pic but you can see both. The green isn't hosted at all but the rose tip is where the skunks live.

Another angle and you can barely see the skunk in on the right. This anemone is only bubbled once in a great while and typically after it's moved or I've done something in the yank that ends up being a significant emotional event for the tank.

Yeah my rose hosts the clowns and is mainly stringy. My Flamethrower is bubbly but they wont go in it. They are very close together and get pretty much the same flow and same light.

Mine changed. Still looks the same today, 2 years later except that it's probably twice the size now. It's huge. And still in the same place.
