I was getting ready to clean out some of my macro alge from my sump and i noticed a small, really small starfish which I think is a bristle starfish. I have no clue where it came from. What should I do with it? move it to my display tank, leave it in the sump, get rid of it? I would like to move it to the display tank and let it grow but don't know if it will bother my corals (Acans, Zoas, leathers)

Little brittle stars are a good thing. They are part of your CUC and help keep the tank clean. They don't usually get that big. We have them in both the display and sump. Some fish will eat them.

Oh, and it shouldn't bother your corals. :)

One thing I haqve learned is if you have 1 you probably have hundreds. They are harmless and good detritus eaters and help keep yoour tank clean. You never really see them but if you want to put a little food in your tank after a couple hrs after lights out and you will see them creep out of the rockwork in your tank. Cool little critters

Yep, there a good thing. Mine where hitchhickers when I picked up some cheato up from Allan at last years Christmas party. Within a year they have multiplied from two to too many to count.
