My kids grabbed mag float and got it full of substrate n proceeded to clean the tank. Now I have a lot of scratches. Can I buff them out with livestock in tank.

micromesh - you can get it thru woodcraft. it is very fine wet sand paper.

yep, no draining needed as it is just very fine wet sand paper.
