The seahorses are crazy about them. I had no idea my sweet seahorses could be so fast and vicious. The shrimp are the perfect size too.
They are eating them like potato chips and could probably eat through 30 of them in one evening! :hypnotyized:
Thanks again for getting them :)

I brought some home last night too. I just love little inverts, so was hoping a colony of them could cruise around munching on algae. I thought *for sure* my gentle, simple minded, lazy bellus angel would leave them alone. She hasn't exhibited much personality in the time I've had her.

So I drop in 15 little popcorn shrimp and watch them scatter, eager to see where they go and what they do. And.... WHAM! The angel goes nuts eating my new little babies! Poor little shrimp. :(

Ah well, the cycle of life. They are sold as food, after all. My angel certainly has a personality now! She's still looking for any survivors this morning. I've never seen her flash her pretty orange dorsal so much. A part of me still hopes any stragglers are smart enough to stay hidden in the rocks. I don't think I could handle an aggressive tank, too emotional!

Not a problem Karin and Tebstan, we plan on keeping them in stock and happy and healthy to feed your critters.

Gee... Thanks...

Thanks for going through the trouble to get them, and keep them in stock. Especially this time of year. It's nice to see a MAAST request get fulfilled by a local sponsor. It must have taken a lot of footwork to pull it off so quickly.

No problem. I will wait for the next batch.
I am thrilled Adrienne was able to get them for me (and everybody else lol)
Special THANK YOU! to Adrienne for finding them and getting them.
I was about to order them online but being able to get them locally is much more convenient of course :D

Hopefully they are able to catch some next week ;)

Yay to Adrienne for getting them this week even though they weren't on the availability list.

I got 90 of them so not sure how many are left now ;)

We stocked up as well to have plenty on hand over the holiday weekend. I just love these little guys and the lionfish does too! I just fed them a little pinch of pellets and watched them running around grabbing them up, having a little skirmish over them. They almost remind me of Muppets characters with those pronounced eyes!

Kinda makes me feel bad to feed them to the lionfish.... just for a minute.

They remind me of the flying monkeys in the Wizard of Oz. How they zoom down, grab a pellet and the zoom away.
I like them for pet purposes as well and try and provide them a happy live with lots of high quality pellets - until it ends. Sorry little bug-eye shrimp. lol

Some seem to be carrying eggs but I heard it takes forever for them to grow into feedable size. I still try to avoid feeding the pregnant ones to the seahorses just in case there is a chance for babies.

They are funny looking, I'm still thinking about stocking my BC29 with them. It would be cool to see some full grown.
