View Full Version : Clown won't eat, just hangs there?

My O. Clown has stopped eating, was eating fine until today now he just seems to hang vertical. (see photo)

Tried pellets and Mysis, he was eating both before today. The only thing changed is I added another clown, smaller than him, on Saturday. After the addition they both seemed fine, eating and getting along.

He could be stressed out with the new edition. I honestly wouldnt worry if he stopped eating for a day. You can always try adding garlic to your food. It could help...My maroon clown sometimes wont eat, and 1/2 the time he always gives his food to his anemeone. I have had him for over a year 1/2 and when a new edition is added he is cautious. Also check your levels in your tank. If he is hanging vertically and cant keep balance it could mean he is really stressed.

my clown stopped eating for like 5 days. i did lots of water changes and added a "poly pad" after another day or so he started eating.
