How long can I run without a return pump?

I need to make some mods to the return pump on my 75g. The mods are just plumbing, but I'd like to remove the pump and take it to HD, and make sure to get the right fittings. Will my tank be okay with only a power head to move water for 2 hours?

as long as your tank was doing fine before, and you have internal flow it can go a day no problem. I've left mine off over a weekend(accident) no prob,

The tank has been fine l, no water problems it will only be a 2hrs while I get the fittings and re plumb.

You should be fine, as long as you have enough water movement circulating in the tank. We just went several days with the return pump on the 75g barely working and everyone is fine now that I figured it out and got it going again. You might point one up to the surface of the water to make sure you get enough dissolved oxygen.
