I had a radium 14k and thought I had pretty good growth. About 70 bucks or so.



Sorry just noticed you have a DE. I had friends who had the phoenix 14k, and it looked amazing and I saw growth in their tanks with this bulb...

I've always used reeflux 12k

10k will give you the best growth, but I like the Pheonix 14k

Light Spectrum Enterprises, 25 dollar MH bulbs and they are good! Alot of the old school pros would go with a 6500k and get their corals massive and then swap over to a higher k to get the color back since the 6500s will make your corals brown.

I get great growth out of my Phoenix 14k. They are only 60bucs also.

I am really looking forward to using my 12k reeflux. Although they are single ended. Ive have heard nothing but good things from them plus you dont have to use actinics if you dont want with them opposed to a 10k.
