I don't know if its me or If I am just going to the wrong store in San Antonio, but I find the lack of coral selection is bad. I don't want to name names, but we just don't have the variety as other city's. I especially talking about frags also. Not many places sell frags just whole coral.

I am looking to by some coral this weekend, but just don't know where to go.

Sorry for the vent and ramble.

I think Gabe usually has some nice mini colony frags from FHI. Reefs2U used to have frags as well (look in the clam tank, etc.) but I haven't been there in ages.
I bought some great acan frags from Polly's (although that was at theri NB location)

Ok, yeah I usually just visit reefs2u, but the last time I went in there was some dealer convention going on so they didn't order anything. I have never been to pollys might have to check that out. My buddy just went to the one on huebner and echart, but it appears they stopped ordering coral cause they where not selling.

You have to get to Gabes super fast when he post FHI coming in because it is great stuff that goes super fast. If you have a weekend to go down to the coast, and stop at GC Reef. Polly's UC gets nice stuff in also. San Antonio is too tight to have a store that carries a lot of Coral.

They get shipments on Wed and ORA on Thursdays.

Check out Gabe's also! He usually has a good selection too. You just have to get there quick because it usually goes fast.

this is the key to most
me working doesn’t even mean i get first dibs sometimes people beat me to it while im unbagging other stuff
people also say they want stuff but when you ask them what there looking for they say nothing so its hard to guess ....
last comment some stores do better with high end small frags some do better with larger pieces

The Dome in South Austin ALWAYS has a boat load of corals -- polyps, softies, LPS and SPS. Check the back tank out for the ultra.

We just got in some good zoa, Lps, acan, and Sps frags at pollys. I'll post on my forum if you want to look. Part of the problem is that suppliers recently have cut back on the amount of frags available... They're coming back though

I recommend Polly's pet shop they have one in Universal City and New Braunfels and they tend to have great selections and great customer service
