Have been looking for LPS food and Jack found this...

Fauna Marin LPS Pellets
(pic from Reefkoi corals)
http://reefkoi.com/coral/images/drygoods/faunaLPS.jpg

Tried it out today... and it rocks! Turned off all the pumps and put one-two pellets per mouth. It's little tiny pellets that dissolve quickly once in water so they are very easy for the LPS corals to digest. Tried it on some acans, a scoly, duncans, dendros, plate coral, war coral, kryptonite candy cane, elegance coral and some lobos....they all consumed it immediately and quickly sent their tentacles out looking for more.

Since they dissolve so quickly I bet you could also let it dissolve in some tank water and then turkey baster your corals. I might have to try that out in a couple of days and spray the zoas and palys.

Great product for anyone looking for some LPS coral food. Picked it up from Reefkoi, not sure if any of the local sponsors carry it or not???

Stephen (txg8gxp) is the one who deserves the credit. He gave me a sample of it a while back.

Cherrycorals also sells it. I've been using it for a while. Larger stuff like scoly's, acans, brains, etc. seem to love it. A small container will last you a long while too. I'll keep using it for sure.

I thought I would share these pics here. I have been working on saving this scolly for about a week now. FM LPS food to the rescue...Does it really work, well look for yourself. First pic was after I first got it, I fed it once and it only ate alittle. Then I fed it once more two days ago, and this is what it looks like now. I will continue to add updated pics until it is funny grown back. So far I'm super happy with the fast rebound.

First pic after first feeding, it did puff up some...but still not too happy.

yep! That's about the same results over here!!! I get a kick out of feeding coral now! I'm 100% positive I'm overfeeding now! LOL! If anyone knows my feeding habbits, I have been known to "not" feed or "starve" corals relying just on Photosynthesis....you'll be happy to know that is no longer the case.

I like to feed things now. So exciting when these little creatures animate themselves while feeding!
