View Full Version : Legitimate Question

It seems as though the moderation these days is a bit overboard. Julian had a legitimate question about the use of one's name. I understand the possibility of potential profit but rather than just edit posts, merely ask the OP to remove the offense as has been done in the past. I was given a warning for just mentioning Steve's name in a post about giving away some macro algae to any member in need. The proper way to have handled the situation was to just ask me to remove the name from my post. A warning was unwarranted and I still believe should be lifted. Because of the way it was handled, a large bag of beneficial macro algae was tossed in the trash that completely goes against Maasts Mission Statement.

What about the PAR meter that was donated by a member to be used by everyone? Doesn't keeping something out of spite to other members also fall within those lines? That too is a legitimate question.

issues like this should be taken straight to BOD and not openly posted, as they will cause controversy. which will end up unresolved and lines will drawn and sides picked all for no reason. thats is all i will comment on this issue. thank you
