I can't believe the turn around in my sps. Their polyps are extended and even the color has started showing.

Todd had come over to the house and told me that I had red bugs. I said "nah, that's just cyano" while muttering under my breath "noon!"

Then he pointed out these tiny little dots... That moved!

So I took two interceptor tabs, on two separate occasions, and dosed the tank. I lost a peppermint shrimp, as far as I can tell. But now my sps seem to be rebounding. I'm happy again.

... Now to the flatworms.

Yes, one of the easiest pests to get rid of. Too bad they can't all be that easy.

Speaking of PITA, what kind of flatworms are we talking about here; red planaria or the AEFW kind?

Well they don't look red... Definitely flat though. They like to caress my lps and mushrooms.

Doesn't appear to impact them although I do think that when there are enough of them the mushrooms seem to not expand to it's fullest.

I don't seem to have them anymore in my DT (six line) but every once in a while I can see them in my frag tank.

Sometimes I pull out the coral and rinse them off with tank water.

I had some whitish/brown ones on some mushrooms. A 3 minute freshwater dip did the trick.

I do the dip everytime I get tired of looking at them. I'd put a wrass in my frag tank but the last one I had did a swan dive out the back of the tank. It was a crispy critter by the time I found it.

They look like weird potato chips when they get crispy like that.

My first train trip to waegon I bought a boxed lunch. When I opened the box there was a pile of tiny little guppies that were dried all crispy like that. And all of them were looking at me!!!

I couldn't bring myself to eat more than a dozen of them or so. A spoonful.
