Beautifully constructed Elos Skimmer for sale, used for about 4 months. Includes Eheim 1260 pump and the optional Injector Cleaner.
New Price on this skimmer is $899
see:
http://elosusa.com/store/product/130/ns-2000-with-pump-eheim-1260
(a basic manual can be found here: http://www.elos.eu/pdf/manuale_naturalskimmer.pdf - manual is for the smaller skimmers NS 500 and NS 1000 but the design is the same)
Filtering Capacity 130-320 gals

It's the NS version meaning
a) it's more plankton friendly
and
b) you can use it with a regular pump - no special needlewheel etc. needed

Something to consider: This skimmer works best sitting in water level up to approx 8". If your water level in your sump is higher you may have to elevate the skimmer.
(got an Ace made skimmer stand if you need it for this skimmer)
Asking $325

I forgot the dimensions and it's actually the dimensions that made me choose this skimmer when I bought it!
It's only 22 inches tall so can fit into many places other skimmers with that capacity can't fit.
That's possible due to the top down injection system. Bubbles are injected from the top down, travel down the inner chamber and then come back up the outer chamber for increased contact time.
The actual foot print in the sump is about 9" by 10.5"

All of the flexible tubing on this skimmer is silicone. The skimmer is ozone safe.

Great skimmer I had a 1000 for years it is picky on height though but this thing screams quality

Thanks ReefCube. I've never seen one as well made as this one. It's beautiful with the thick polished/rounded acrylic plates, etc. It really should last forever and since all of the bubble making is in the skimmer design, not the pump it will be easy to replace the pump with another should it ever go out.

Like you mentioned it is crucial that the outlet is above water either by having a low water level of 8" or less in the first place or by using a skimmer stand.

I am busy this weekend but will post pics when I get a chance later

I just cleaned it with some vinegar and water. Here's a picture of all items included:
basic Elos NS 2000 skimmer with the original injector knob (seen in front of the skimmer in the picture below)
Eheim 1260 pump (original pump also has seen only 4 months of use)
optional injector cleaner (used instead of the original injector knob) hook up your ATO to this and you won't have to worry about cleaning it by hand periodically)
