We just missed it...

Congrats Randy and Christine! :)


At last night’s after party for the 53rd anniversary of the House of Fins SPLASH event we were shock-and-awed to bear witness to the engagement of two great reef people. Seems like we were all just standing around without purpose when Randy Reed commanded the party not only to declare his love for the amazing Christine Williams...

Oh wow... that does make sense that he was in a rush. The other thing that is even more of a near miss is that I had originally scheduled Christine Williams to present the topic of "Marine Fish Health, Diseases" and she had to cancel a couple of weeks later because she had a schedule conflict. They could have been here together!

It seems that we almost had the engagement here in San Antonio at L*MAR!

That would have been really cool! I have never seen a proposal in person. It must be so sweet and romantic.
