It should be around, usually can only be found around pickling time. :)

Call first, some walmarts will carry it while another won't.

That figures... I've never found it there (closest to me), but have seen several times at 1604 & Nacogdoches

I know why you never find it. Stores usually only stock 3-4 bags at a time. If one of us walks by the shelf, poof, it’s gone. The wife asks, "Why do you need three bags of pickling lime?” I respond with, "The precious needs’s it, (hisssss)".
I have 1.5 bags right now. Next time I see some, it'll get what is there and make a post. We need to keep those pesky canning people from using OUR products.

I got it! From the Walmart on 1604 and Nacogdoches.
Awesome value as it is not even taxed!
I paid 21 bucks for 8 pounds (paid $38 for 8 pounds of Seachem) -saved $17!

A little tricky because they also sell Pickling SALT in very similar bags so got to watch it. I left one bag behind in case anybody really wants to pickle something...
