I see them all the time on Craigslist anywhere from $1000-7000 depending on condition, year and mods/specs. Simply go to the auto section and type in GMC or Chevy truck and you will have a lot to choose from.

I have a K-10 which is simply the 4x4 version of the C-10 and k-10s are a lot harder to find. I plan on semi restoring my truck. I would not sale my 83 for less than $5000 and thats in its current condition.

I will shoot you a pm with some links if I run across some good trucks.

I got myself back in an 82 Chevy. My first car was an 82 Chevy LB with a 305, this one is a SB with a 350. I paid more than I should have. If you find one be sure to look for a lean due to worn out suspension on the drivers side, I missed it. Of course listen to the motor and make sure the tranny feels good. Check the fluids both by sight and smell, if they smell burnt you may be getting into trouble. Oh, mine is not for sale, I just wanted to brag! I'm very knowledgeable on these trucks so if you have any questions feel free to ask, I've been through it all from top to bottom on these trucks. Parker

Parker my truck also leans to the driver side. Not a big deal something they all eventually get to from my understanding. One of those repairs on my list.

There's my big ol baby. I use it for beer runs. It's not a chevy, but I only paid a grand for it. It's name is the black pearl. Was originally red, but I painted it flat black. :)

Oh yeah, it's an '87 Power Ram.

Yeah, it needed another grand to run like it does! :p

I drove it home with a file stuck in the carb to keep the choke open, lol.

I got a good size list but slowly chipping it away. I guess you missed it but I suggested we swap springs, you could have my old saggy one to drop yours since I got the 2" drop shackles. Lol. I think what I'm going to do is find a used passenger side one till I get the scratch to do it right. I still have yet to put the shackles on because I have to trim some structure off the bed since it's a shorty. (and I'm lazy)

@ Erik-I love that truck, I like how much, or little, work you did to turn it around and make it awesome.
@Jack- I would love to see some pics of your birds, I'm a long time aviation buff and A&P mechanic.

Not an IA or pilot yet but working towards it. Taking too long if you ask me!

IA is an easy test. Just study the test guide. As long as you've had your a&p for three years you are good to go.

I've been out of practice for the last couple years but I'm working towards getting back to Boeing. If that falls through I'll be looking for other options. I went out to the Commemorative Air Force in San Marcos and was thinking of volunteering, they said themselves and others always need IAs out there. That and there is a lot of little air fields here and there. For the record I have 6+yrs and all in heavies. We need to start another thread but bump for the effort I guess! Ha ha
