Can't believe this article about FedEx! I've always used them and haven't experienced any problems like this. But, I would never ever choose a kinkos location for a hold for pick up location. I hold at the airport location only. When I was in Utah the FedEx people took very good care of my babies until I came and got them. They knew me and which packages I was looking for because they were the ones labeled fishies on board. Haven't used the FedEx hold here much, but have had deliveries to the house a few times. Doni is a very reputable breeder/shipper and responsible for my adorable picassos.

I dont think that should be put on Fed Ex. I am more mad at the person who wants the live fish held at a store he didnt have permission to hold at. Seems pretty irresponsible. I dont really order to much stuff online so excuse my ignorance if I read it wrong or something.

That seems really strange. I like hold at location. Used to get it to a Fedex at Brooks City Base but was told regulations had changed and I now had to do hold on location at the main Express Center on Brussels I believe. But I also get stuff fedexed straight to my house and Fedex has been awesome.
Fedex guy makes sure they are delivered super early (even though my rural area would give him until noon) and brings them to the front porch. No complaints at all.
Guess it just depends on who you are dealing with (the actual person not the whole company)

The only issue was when I ordered an Chrysurus Angel from Marine Center from Dallas on Thursday. And I checked shipping at 5am, 7, 9, Friday Morning and the package never moved. I called Marine Center and told them that the fish was lost and they asured me if the fish showed up dead I did not have to pay for it. Long story short after argueing with Fed Ex on Saturday at the main place, they found it in a truck ready for delivery on Monday to the place I work at. I have found that my home delivery UPS and Fed Ex drivers are great. It is just a few bad apples that are in a hurry to make a drop that ruin it for everyone else. Oh yea almost forgot this one last week I ordered a pair of PJ's from Sea Life and they came in here at work and I met the Fed Ex Driver coming to the door. He was caring my package like a football, I don't think they read the labels on the package?
