HAVE NOT SEEN MY CONCH

My conch went to the sand bed a week ago and have not resurface since. Is this normal or is it dead? I don't want to stir up the sand bed to dig it out yet, just want to make sure that this is normal first.

How big is your tank (with the sandbed)
I bought two for my 125 and then thought one had died (hadn't seen him in awhile).
Of course when I bought his replacement he resurfaced and I had three...

24g. Aquapod with 3" sand bed.

Giau, I think we have four or five of these guys now in the 210g and often do not see them for several days at a time... this is pretty normal. Also, they are nocturnal, so if/when you do see them, they will surface in the middle of the night and be seen cruising around the algae that accumulates on the glass right at the sand line.
