My clown is slowly killing my colt coral. Look what she's done!

My colt when I got it:
9372

The colt now that the clown loves it:
9373

When I moved the colt, it recovered to its former glory, until the clown got tired of hosting an empty patch of rock and found it on the other side of the tank. So I got an anemone, and put it in the colts spot, and moved the colt away again.

No go. She followed the colt back to its original spot and ignores the anemone.

I'm considering my options. Is it possible to get her to host something new, or do I need to find her a new home altogether?

Lol!! I feel your pain. My clowns have tripled in size and my colt has shrunk to a third of the size it once was.

It was such a big lovely tree, now its this grotesque shrunken unhappy thing. Ironically, it doesn't look unhealthy. Just... angry.

Frankly, I'm not a big fan of the clown anymore. She's mean to me. Either we come to an understanding about the colt, or she's getting booted.

A many of us have had to rid our tanks of a vicious clown fish.

I sometime wonder if evolution mixed things up a little. Clowns can have the personality of a shark having a bad day.

One of those small but extremely fiesty animals. Napoleon Complex.....

So far ive been lucky with my little clarkii clown (knock on wood)

Mines a clarkii... I liked the maroons but thought they'd be too aggressive for the direction I wanted to take my tank. Now I'm stuck with this little monster. She's evil. The boy clown doesn't even seem to like her.

I might try putting an eggcrate house around the colt to force her off of it, she might wander to the anemone and try it out. She might go postal on the eggcrate and cause an avalanche too, though. I've seen her pick up some pretty good size rocks.
