My step-daughter wanted a Betta tank so I made this out of some scrap acrylic I had laying around. I think it looks pretty cool!

I can't let my wife see that. That's awesome for just using left over scrap. Heck, that's awesome any way you put it.

I gotta admit, I'm a little sad to see it's not a saltwater tank. But that looks great dude!

WOW...awesome Jack! Doesn't get much better than that for a beta tank!

What is the plant growing out of it?

Is this your first try, or is this a better beta betta tank?

Wow. Must be great to just 'put something together from scraps' like that! Awesome!

Thanks Karin!

I was kind of inspired by all of the fresh water setups that have been posted here lately. I wanted something a little different. Txg8gxp's betta tank is the one that really got me thinking about something other than just a plain old fish tank.

The dimensions are 7x7x7" and it holds just under 1.5 gallons.

Good one, Jack!

I like to see them have more room. Just because they don't need it to survive, doesn't make it right.

I was wondering if you were going to see that!
I agree. He now has about 10 times more room than he did in that little cup.

Nice one indeed, kiddo has been wanting a pet, and thought a fish would be a good start. :) He's here next to me CHEESING!!!!!

Thanks for the idea Jack.

No problem, Ismael. Post pics if you decide to build something.
