Bought this used a while back and never tested it until now. The DC 8 seems to be receiving a signal and I tested the fuse so that seems to be all good. I go to plug in the my pumps, lights, etc. Nada! I can't figure out why nothing is working. All settings are set. I've manually turned the devices on and still nothing. The little dips switches on the side are set off. Am I missing something?

You sure you got the dip switches set correctly for your program?
Does the AC show your devices on or off?

I read online that the first 3 dips are set to off for a single bar (A01-A08). The fourth switch apparently doesn't have a purpose, at least, that's what it infers. I'm super confused! Something that would seem so simple is rather difficult. Like when I start messing with the settings I can see the status light on the bar start flickering so I know something is going on. I've got the lights and skimmer set to auto (timed) but the pumps are manually set to stay on. Anyone have similar setup that could chime in?

I have one. I am trying to help you dingle! :)
Go to your timer names and verify they are A01-A08. Make sure your dips are also set correctly for A. On the DC8 there is a graphic which tells you how to set the dips.

Oh. I didn't know you had one. Anyway, yes they are all named A01-A08. The dips are set for A, according to the graphic. Do I have to power off the AC for it to initialize? It should start after I hit run, right? What if I reset it to default? My setting will be history but I'm willing to try anything.

Can you bring it over? We can hook it up to my computer and test it.

Bring over my AC or the DC8? The ACjr is the stone age version so no serial port. I'll gladly come over. I wanna know if I got hosed on the DC8. Lol! What's does your weekend look like?
