If I may? I raised Scottish Terriers all through the 80's and Cairn's are cousins, the closest cousins reportedly bred from the same dog long long ago. The lady I bred my Scotties with had Cairn's as well. These dogs are great! They can fit into a family environment or a one on one environment. They tend to have one master but accept and respond to anyone in the family. They are excellent watch dogs and are intelligent enough to know a threat as opposed to a neighbor. I have never known one to be yappy but rather quiet unless they perceive a threat. They are very personable and enjoy attention. They are loving, highly intelligent and loyal. They love to play, keep racquetballs around and they will be happy. If I had the time to devote to a dog, I would be all over this one. Wheaten's are more rare than the black or brindle variety and their personality is awesome. If in a multi dog family, they need to be the smallest dog because like all terriers, they project themselves much more than their size would indicate.

Take this dog into your life and you will be so glad you did.

Ray I can understand her being a bit much with Pugs. If no one wants her or isn't ready for her yet, let me know, I would be glad to keep her for a little while.

Still available? My neighbor might be interested. They LOVE Cairn Terriers. They have had one for as long as I have known them. They would be able to provide a loving and safe home. Ill call them and see if they would be interested.
