Of course, I'm out of town this weekend and my wife tells me that something smells like it's burning near the tank. Turns out that the pump on my Octo 110 burnt out and started leaking current into the tank. Normally, I would just go buy another skimmer, but with the wedding I had to be at this weekend and an empty rental property that just had to have a new a/c and paint, I'm pretty much broke. That's not to mention that I'm already working on my upgrade and was saving for a EV180 for the new tank. Does anyone have a skimmer or pump I could borrow for about a month? I don't really care what kind, just want to have something on there.

You might also want to look at the equipment library to see if there is a pump that would fit your skimmer. That might be an even easier solution!

Thanks again Kristy and MAAST. I'll check through the library tonight and let you know tomorrow.

Hi Steve,
Still have not heard anything from you about returning our Octopus skimmer. Did you get the pm with our contact info that I sent you a few days ago? Please let us know when you think you will be able to return that to us. Thanks.

Sorry, was up in Austin sizing up the new tank this weekend. I should be free this weekend and will set something up.

Awesome - thanks so much for responding! Only started to get nervous because we have never actually had the pleasure of meeting you and then realized that the tank you had borrowed this for was already gone.

Looking forward to your upcoming tank build!

Sorry about that, just been swamped. I need to pick up the MAAST cart from bigbird this weekend, so I should be near you. Looking forward to seeing your tanks.
