So pretty much as the title says. I have my 90g tank and i am currently fighting the urge to take the entire tank down, and just start over. Sounds weird but there are days i am like eh need a bigger tank or different style tank aka bow front, half cirlce, etc. and i want to just sale all the livestock and pull the plug and restart with everything. Has anybody else have this happen? and whats the cure if you don't do this

I am redoing everything. Although my favorite fish will move over.
But I got a different tank, all new rock, sand, a much more focused plan.

LOL, It happens all the time.
Ive had many aquariums because I tend to either get bored after a while or simply unsatisfied with the direction a tank may be going. Ive been on here since 04 and have had 8 diffrent saltwater aquariums. The only problem is in saltwater the tanks needs to be setup for a while to truely make progress. Coralin growth, coral growth, a stable system take months and years even. My Biocube 29 is approaching a year and its the longest ive been able to keep a salt aquarium up.
I know where you are coming from ;)

I got the coraline growth like crazy but yeah its like i am never happy with the aquascaping or i feel limited on the scaping because of the tank and then seeing the builds with the half circles etc. just makes me druel. Its like i can never get a tank i am satisfied with and i know many have been the same way lol. at one point i thought about going with nanos instead of one tank, have like 10 nanos all with different themes but my wife shot that down quickly

I feel the same way, for the past 3 months as I get more and more into sps I want to reaquascape my tank, so I have more room for my sps to grow out. one thing that has helped is my lil pico. I tear it down and redo it every couple months, and with the LEDs and big hob fuge been able to keep sps .

Doing it right now as we speak. Rock, coral, fish, and the tank.

I think we all start out just buying coral willy nilly, not acclimating stuff, etc.
So some day you will have some kind of pest in your tank or even desirable stuff that ended up not being what you're interested in.
You just got to try things out and see where your heart is.
Stocking a tank with pretty things was fun but now that I have a plan and a vision I find it much more exciting than when I just accumulated 'stuff'

I got what i pretty much want i just can seem to find that happy aquascape i like lol. I think hmmm.. two islands, then i think hmmm caves, it just never seems like i am going to be happy with my tank if that makes sense i mean i am happy with my tank but It seems i like i want to change things, or have multiple different "themes"

look up the golden ratio for aquariums and get going. :) It took me 15 hours to get my tank the way I wanted it, rock wise.
