http://www.dominopads.com/snakegg2%20.jpgI think my new camera takes very good pictures considering it's in a chicken coop at night:

Just as a side note: I'd totally trade some snakes for frags. Catch yourself a copperhead and I might even give you a frag!

It's fairly small. You can tell by how big the egg is

we used to get mostly black ones. This summer they all look like this

(JT I don't like them either although I am starting to get less freaked out by the rat snakes. I still hate the copperheads. If one of the kids or pets would get bitten by a copperhead the consequences could be very serious)

the kids are my first concern. they wont know what it is and might try to "play" with it or might not be able to get away from them...

wont moth balls keep them away ?

Yes, I've heard they work from Jack and Chris but when I looked into it mothballs contain naphthalene

Mothballs contain naphthalene, which is a poison if inhaled. Mothballs can cause nausea, vomiting and headache. Other signs of illness are shortness of breath, coughing and burning eyes.

Most people use them today without realizing their side effects. Children that have glucose problems can become severely ill. Having clothing just removed from a storage trunk and put on can cause the naphthalene to enter through the skin.

I bet it works great around hunting cabins, etc. but I don't really want it close to pets and food either. (I know I'm so picky...)

looks like a bb gun is your best friend lol jk jk

We have a customer that was heading in and she never showed up which was odd turned out her dog was bit by a snake and was taken to the vet….. The vet said the dog lucked out that the snake must of just bit something else earlier because there wasn’t much venom

be safe living in the country lol

I think I am going to buy some small mesh bird mesh and put it on the chicken coop. We already have chicken wire but the snakes can fit through it it seems
