For sale a batch of colonized bio pellets.
It's still almost a full liter (runs around $99)

You can have these either fully colonized so you don't have to wait for the bacteria goop to develop or I can wash them in RO water and deliver them to San Antonio dry so you can start from scratch if you want.

Asking $70
Reduced and I will deliver tonight (Thursday to NE San Antonio)

500ml portion: $25 (retail $52)
1000ml portion: $50 (retail $99)

are you going away from biopellets?

should probably mention why I am selling these!

I still love the pellet reactor and in fact ordered the XL size reactor for my new 215 tank. The company I ordered the reactor from sent me different pellets and I figured I just go with one kind of pellet at a time rather than mixing them.

The old pellets worked fine for me. If they don't sell I will use them myself. I have been told the the two kinds of pellets would actually be compatible and could be run in the same reactor with good results.

I am just a little OCD and want the pellets in the reactor to be all the same (kind of like the peas not touching the mashed potatoes on the dinner plate)

I definitely will stay with biopellets though and am excited about trying out the new XL reactor on my new tank! :D

Thanks. Now that I got the flow just right I enjoy watching the pellets gently tumble and watching non matching pellets would really bother me. lol

Actually I am not going to part with my Nextreef but for $90 I can make it a TLF reactor/pellet package deal.
I love my Nextreefs and I don't love the TLF. lol

LOL...Hey you can't blame me for trying...
Did you not order a new one? How much would you want for the set up?
I already have a TLF

I am converting the smaller NR back to be a regular media reactor and keeping it.
Since most fish foods are higher P than N it's recommended to run both GFO and Pellets (separate reactors).

I really wouldn't recommend the TLF as a pellet reactor. TLF as the GFO reactor and something like a Nextreef as the pellet reactor would be optimal IMO. (or two NR like I do lol)
People have used the TLF though for pellets as well so I am sure it's doable (sponges need to be removed for that)

Right now I got regular size NR for my pellets and TLF for my GFO. Once big tank comes in I will have the regular NR as my GFO and XL NR as my pellet reactor.

Yes absolutely. :)
For all you people with small tanks I can also split this up into almost 500ml (retail new $53) portions for $35 each.
Per manufacturer you should use 500ml to 740ml per 100 USG. You may need more depending on feeding habits (I used 1000ml for 125 USG)

I'd say the almost 500ml should work for something up to a 65 gallon system.

Sounds good Jack. Do you think you could meet up with us tonight around 6:45 PM at the windmill water dispenser in front of polly's pets?
Also do you want them with bacteria goop on or washed in RODI and dried?
