The cube I just bought on here seems to have a ballast issue. I am working on wiring in some new ballasts from a biocube but not sure it will work how I want it anyway.

I had 2x24 and the lights just keep shutting off. I had thought I had a lightbulb going so I bought 2 new bulbs and now am out another 60$ on this little tank.

For waht I have into this thing at this point I would have just bought a bigger tank lol

Anyway does anyone make a small t5 kit or a cool small LED panel that will fit with this tank?

Does anyone have anything small they want to get rid of?

Ideas would help I need a solution asap.

The biocube plugs are different and I am trying to figure out what is supposed to be wired to where to make the nanocube plugs work again. Its a 7 wire set up on the biocube ballast and a 5 wire set up on the JBJ wiring.

Nanotuners 12" T5's would be really cool. They have a DIY kit too.

I just wish I would have known this before I bought the tank. At this rate I could have bought another tank for the kids room and not been out this much.

If it makes you feel better I've had problems with my BioCube too. Both lights went out pretty quickly. I thought it was just a bulb issue but now after reading this I'm afraid to even waste my time with new bulbs. Luckily I'm not using it right now but I'm feeling like it was a waste of money. Its just sitting around taking up space at this point.
