Halmeda

Free Halimeda.

I've got a softball sized colony of halimeda that I've got to trim down. I've pulled pieces out and you can see white wispy stuff growing out from it... will have to assume that's roots. So what ever I give you will have rooty stuff with it.

Oh, it's the small leafed halimeda. I've got it growing in my display tank on a small island rock, grows straight up and out a little. Looks like a bouquet of halimeda.

Jt, I can easily trim out two fair sized samples. I was picking it off the rock for a long time until I learned what it was.

I've got three folks interested, Jack, Kristy, and JT. Perhaps if we go by location we can ensure that everyone is taken care of? JT and Jack are really close to me, Mike (Kristy lives with him) lives down by USAA. Actually JT lives down there as well, but I can bring it by his place of employment although I really do not like bringing stuff to a business that sells stuff to give away the stuff that they are trying to sell.... stuff.

At any rate, lmk, as it is right now I will divvy the plant into three sections. I can nub this down close to the rock and it will come back so I've no worries about it going away.

Sounds good. I'm pretty close to all as well (1604 and Blanco). I've got one really nice bushel in the DT I was going to remove, but will save for whoever. I also keep a good ground cover in the sump, but those usually consist of a few chutes each. I don't mind delivering to JT at work if he doesn't. Or he's welcome to pick up before or after working depending on what we can work out. And Mike, Kristy, and Jack know they are always welcome too. I will be free this evening after 6, Tomorrow during the day, and then Sunday at Rob's Foam Meet.

In fact if anyone is interested in trading a few pieces I've got some purple tip acro, purple digi, and a few green tort frags to exchange ... Not to hijack robs presentation though.
A couple of rock affixed Kenya and even a frag of green slimer.

FYI: just so to clarify...this isn't some official meeting. A few members asked to watch me foam. I will be foaming on Sunday the 1st at 1pm and anybody on this site that wants to watch is welcome, my only rule is to leave the curse words at home and SEND ME A PM if you plan to come so I can know how many people will be coming by.

Just want to leave that little disclaimer...I posted it on my "85g" thread but there seems to be more interest over here. lol

....I'm moving the foaming event to when Jack gets back in town. He was one of the ones that requested to watch and since only one person has confirmed to come by I'd rather move it to when the people that asked about it can attend.
