well i just bought a use light from a store and it will turn on for about 5 mins then turn off. can someone help me???:confused:

lol yeah the one that go's on top.
well im not sure if the light is going off or there is a lose wire.

well when i turn on the light it flashes bright then goes a little dim

Sounds like a ballast problem.

Yeah, sounds like a ballast. Coralife is ESU = garbage.

I kinda agree with everyone, probably ballast may just be lamp either way if it is a single lamp 65w new they cost $60 compared to $28 for lamp and $20 for ballast. We have become the disposal capital of the world, cheaper to buy new than fix and we only have ourselves to blame. (Political statement, sorry)
