What happened with A.A? I don' see them in the sponsor list anymore. Maybe they have been gone for a while and I just noticed :nerd:. Just curious?????

I asked myself the same question when I walked into the store yesterday.

?

As far as fish are concerned, I don't see how petland is any competition. I met the owners of petland while on duty(their alarm went off), but they don't have plans on any salties yet....although they do carry cichlids. Unless Alamo really relied on their other half of the store vs the fish.

In regards to their sponsorship. we are currently working on updating all of our current sponsors forums and banners. Thus the reason some are there and some are not. We have recieved their renewal contract but are now awaiting their sponsorship donations when those are received then you will see their banner & forum again.

Hopes this helps.

Thanks for the info. I was just wondering because I thought they were closing too. I was in there a week ago and was very sad...the store isn't what it use to be. It's WAY TOO HOT and it smells like someone is cooking up a pot of lizard crap! I know that is just my opinion, but compaired to how that store was just 1 1/2 ago...it's just sad. Not trying to bash the place but I just don't understand how it's gone down hill so far, so fast.

I think a lot of it started going downhill when "staffing" changed....I never wish a business to close, as that means a person is losing a job or income. I don't know what is happening in this case though...

I am sorry they're struggling. I bought my first skimmer there a decade ago! :)

really? I drove by yesterday at around 5:30 and I only saw the owners truck. I didn't even notice the employees cars.

I've always heard how there is a change going on there, that it's going to be awesome. I've never seen it change a bit. That's always annoyed me about that place.
