Is it 1 400 or a pair. I have dual 250 De pendants

To clarify I only have 1 400w MH complete setup, not a pair.
I would like a pair of something smaller or I would trade one for one if it's 250w so that the trade is more even. I can also throw in premium corals if someone has 2 x 250w MH to trade.
AND....I'm not married to anything...may even consider T5....I'm just gathering equipment I might need for two different tanks.
I also have an immediate need for a 4 or 6 bulb 24w T5 setup.

Your downsizing for the big move is going super well I see... lol

^Yes, it is. I have downsized half my coral through trades and store credit with the LFS. My wife is proud :) considering I haven't spent much cash yet.
Not only am I gathering equipment for my tank but I'm also helping my friend as well, so I have two puzzles to put together.
All part of the fun....maybe not for some.

this hobby is nothing but fun. i enjoy messing up and correcting it to accomplish the goal of keeping things alive including keeping myself alive. and to help a friend out so he too can enjoy this hobby is great.

Hoarding has been super fun for me too. I was almost disappointed when Gabe's said tank's going to be here soon. Much less tends to go wrong when everything is still in boxes... ;)
Good luck with your trade. I could envision this to look very nice over a tall deep dimension cube or something similar :)

Karin, I'm not planning to go deep with the new tank...my friend's tank is 75g (my old frag tank that I posted pics of already) so I'm gathering parts for his and mine...... mine will most likely be a very shallow tank (which is new for me) and is the reason for this thread, a 400w light won't work for me. Also CUBE will not do anything for me because I still have a ton of coral that will need a temporary home during the move. So....the perfect tank will be long and shallow.

exactly. ;) (trying to help you find a new home for this by giving potential new owners ideas for a cool set up with this light :D)

I'm very tempted to do a cube just because this setup is practically new and nice.....but not sure a cube will work for my needs darn-it!

Well, I have two 250s, But have thought about doing a 400 on the right side. I can't do it on the left side because of the pillar. I would just need the sockets because I have lumenarcs.
