see info here (http://elosusa.com/store/product/130/ns-2000-with-pump-eheim-1260) and here (http://www.marinedepot.com/Elos_Natural_Skimmer_NS_Series_Protein_Skimmers_In _Sump_Venturi_Protein_Skimmers_For_Tanks_100_to_25 0_Gallons-Elos_USA-EO5551-FIPSISVSHT-vi.html)
Just ignore the price. Focus on if you think this is a good skimmer or not...
What do you think?

The Elos NS2000 is rated for 130 to 320 gallons.
My tank will be a 215g but with a 7" sandbed so only about 170g after the sand is added.
Plus a 55g sump (actual water volume more like 30g). Total water volume around 200g I guess...
Do you think the NS2000 could handle my size tank?

Come on guys. Give me your opinions. I need to make a decision. Footprint of this skimmer and height would be ideal.
I have an opportunity to buy the NS2000 from somebody for a VERY good price.
But even a very good price is no good if it's the wrong skimmer.
Thoughts?
Update: I'm going to buy it! :)
(in other words don't post anything about how bad they are. Too late for that and I don't want to hear it. haha)

Cool. I am so excited. :)
Somebody got theirs as part of a package deal for a complete Elos system but they never intended to actually use the Elos skimmer because they tied that system together with another tank exceeding the capacity of the skimmer.
That model would have been $900 new and I am getting it 'like new' for $450. The Elos rep is also sending me some modification hardware to have the injector automatically cleaned with ATO RO water on a daily basis.
In other words: I am all set. Find me some sand Gabe. lol

yikes. guess that means I have to bite the bullet and drain the old fish bowl, move it over, refill it and have a spot ready for the new one.
:D

Thank Giau. I was excited to find a high capacity skimmer that would fit into my stand. This one will work out perfect.
