I have a double star lower and all the stag components to complete an ar15. Never assemble, upper is the 2H flat top. Never put together because I already have an Armalite M4 and 3 other M4's waiting for assembly, lol. Bought the double star lower during a group buy before Obamination was elected. Then bought the remaining components(all through Stag) in another all in one purchase. Black rifles are a must for when the zombies attack.

ahhhh what a relief, I thought that I was the only one preparing for zombie attacks, feel better now, chunkiemonkey we must get together for a zombie defense plan :)

Carl sorry to hear those accidents can be....horrible experiences, sorry cant help...wait I could, I am pretty good at customizing rifles or putting kits together, got all the needed tools for the job, and saw a movie once in how to do it :)

lol...I constantly train for counter zombie defense tactics. The biggest is the minimum one gun per hand rule. Double tap....when it doubt, God will thin them out, lol. I'll have 6 M4's built by the end of summer, may get rid of two of them. The one I have still sitting in packaging is available. Maybe put it together next week.

yes Carl, I now how traumatizing those accidents can be....but you just have to pull up your boot straps and get some more.....and dont tell Beck how many, I'll testified that I have seen them before...actually I just may have..:)

chunky, dude what are you waiting for??? the attack can be tomorrow and you are not ready, if you need some tools LMK, you can borrow some, Carl have seen some of my toys, except "the big Broom" for those zombies about 1.5 miles away that you just have to engage.

any how Carl, go to ar15.com people over there are always selling stuff.

good luck

hahaha, this thread has been hijacked hahaha
nice pea shooter, but the barret is way over priced, there are cheaper alternatives, even thought you may find one for 3 or 4k, but cash, luck and patience will save the day.

ammo must pile ammo, if not, all pea shooters are expensive and heavy clubs :)

http://www.serbu.com/top/bfg50.php > Barrel, especially for the price. They will even engrave the muzzle brake with anything you one. The first one I saw had "America, Yeah" engraved around the barrel. :)

Nice one, I've seen the stainless version at the local fun show and drooled over it many a times. I had the Springfield Lightweight Operator which looks similar to your Kimber, but sold it. Eventually I want to get another full size 1911. To complement my other zombie rifle of course!

I know Chris, I debated myself too long when you had yours for sale, next time I went back to it, it was sold, good for you, but sucked for me :)

Carl I have to ask. Why were you cleaning your guns while fishing? LOL

Were you using a rod or shooting the fish?

All joking aside good luck with your search. Id like to get a shot gun and rifle myself.

Coworker of mine bought the kimber warrior from Nagel's. But it came with knock off magazines. Anyone else have this issue from a retailer keeping the oem mags/pieces and subbing with something else?

If the 1911 is a full size, I would run wilson combat mags. I have never had a feed issue with them. Cheap mags, and hollow points don't get along with a 1911 very well.

I heard few bad things about nagels, I personally never had a problem, but...... there was a young guy that worked there a while ago, dont know if still does, that carry 4 guns on him, yes 4 pistols, 8 spare mags and 2 knifes, I talked to him once about a piece I was looking to get, and some how got into carry pistols, and he showed me his carry, I laugh at him, he did not like that too much, but come on, he was ridiculous, and told him so, even for me that was funny.

wilson combat mags, yeap its all I have in the kimber, I heard about vendors swapping mags so they can sell the good ones and put cheap ones instead, but if its a new gun and they do that, you can take it back, the mag that is, if its a used one, good luck, but the truth is, that as a costumer for that specific item, if you dont know what you are buying, call or research first, this items are not cheap, and they are after all guns.

Ray look at the saiga12.

havent you guys heard, there are Mexican pirates on falcon lake, here in Texas, thats why Carl take his pea shooters, when out fishing, nobody likes to be a victim of a crime :)

I only carry two pistols on me when on duty. Of duty maybe two, but because I carry the same beliefs off duty that I have on duty. My coworker bought the kimber new and I told him to take it back too, but his pride kept him from doing so. He went and bought wilson mags. I was going to the range one day, had two m4's with 1k rounds, and 8 pistols with about another 12-1300rds, lol. Got stopped by another officer and that was akward

hahaha, once I went to the range with a friend, we had about 10k rounds and about 20 rifle/pistols of different calibers, he got stopped for speeding, I was thinking, man this is going to be fun, but he got a quick ticket and off we went to play.

yeah 2 I am more than ok with, back up is always good, hmmm new Kimbers only come with one mag., from the factory....their mags are about 30 40 bucks..hmmm nagels........hey chunky if you want to borrow a 100 round mag LMK, they are sooo much fun to shoot :)

That bites Carl, I recommend cleaning your guns at home next time ;).

My friend has a Kimber Ultra CDP2 with laser grip sights and it is a very nice firearm, but I personally rather carry one of my XD's over the Kimber due to the increased round count and not having to remove a safety. Just my opinion. I have a .44 Magnum Ruger SuperBlackHawk if you want a big gun :D
