This is video (Iphone video) of my onyx percs. They are in a 29 gal BC. This beheavior is a cross between play and defense. They didn't like me video-taping them, hence the more erratic movement. They call the fox coral home for the most part. I love these fish. They are beautiful. Darth mauls are in bottom right of video. These are cool palythoas.

That was pretty entertaining. My mom has two maroon clowns and their show is no where near as fun to watch as that one. Slackers!

Maybe we can make them dinner, set up some sexy lighting and see if I can't buy some fry off you? lol

LOL....They should be sexually mature now. Have never had them spawn. You might check the guys at GCReef to see if they still have any. When mine start spawning, I will rear them again, but won't let any go until they are at least 6 months old....so don't wait on me or my fish, it could be awhile!

It's going to be a bit before I am ready anyway. We won't get back to SA until Oct, then have to cycle the tank and start introducing live stock to it. So def a few months before I would be ready for them anyway. Where is GCReef? Are they a sponsor? i am just getting back into MAAST so i am not familiar with a lot of places anymore.

Never mind, found them under sponsors! Thanks for all the info. These are my fav fish and i would absolutely love to have another pair of them! If i can find them, I may still have some older pics of my pair with a RBTA. They weren't completely colored yet as they were still young, but beautiful none the less.

Here's a few pics of mine. Not the greatest. They are from about 4 years ago. I got them from Rod's Reef when he still sold his Onyx. I believe he only does his frozen foods now.

This video from July 16, 2012. This is the first time they have spawned in several months. The tank has defintiely gone throught some major changes since they were last spawning this winter. The eggs are on the backside of the red and green brain.

Great looking pair of fish. Are you raising any of the babies? I still have the parents and the sibling from the first batch that you raise for me.

Minh....I am not currently raising any fish. I have 3 brood pairs for future plans. I have human babies I am currently raising and they don't give me enough time to raise fish. This pair in the video are cohorts with your fish from the 1st batch. I have this pair and a pair of GSMs that are currently spawning. My other is a pair platinums that are maturing currently.

Congratulation on your human babies. Mine brood are not full grown yet either. They sure are expensive and take a lot of time.
