I believe they went out of business. The 2 operators/owners have started 2 separate companies. I've got a custom model from them that's my all time fav skimmer.

I just got this sad email(see below) stating that Euro-Reef has decided to cease doing business. However, Reef Dynamics is picking up the pieces somewhat by providing customer support to existing Euro-Reef product owners by handling warranty issues. The email doesn’t state why Euro-Reef is closing, but it does suggest that former owners and employees are separating to create distinct companies. Perhaps a rift between the head hanchos or maybe an effort to bolster sales by changing markets. The details are somewhat scarce for now.

As of Dec 31st, 2009 Euro-Reef, Inc. will cease doing business.
Former CEO and Vice President Jeff Macaré has started a new company called Reef Dynamics which offers American Made, top of the line protein skimmers. Reef Dynamics only sells to Brick & Mortar Retail Dealers in the US & Canada.. Look HERE to find a dealer near you.

Regardless of the reasons, it’s sad to hear that Euro-Reef is moving on. I own some of their skimmers and they are rock solid performers.
