24" T5 fixture, ATI powermodule,Sunpower or TEK will do. No sps in this tank,so it does not have to be intense lighting.

Well here is the start of the other half of Giau's project. The stand...

The stand is 36" tall and will have a 6" ledge on the front 3 sides. We tacked the door on to see how it will line up. The skin starts tomorrow....

Very nice Giau,
I have been contemplating doing the EXACT same thing with a neo nano in the upcoming year. Making it a bar. Kudos to getting this thing rolling :) Can't wait to see progress.

Got the new custom stand today ,thanks to Steve (BIGBIRD). This stand can easily hold 1000lbs w/ no problem and it built just the way i drew it out.

Nice!
I like your stands. Liked the one for your 160 cube and this one looks very similar in style.

I like the trim part that sticks out up on top. I can use it to rest my arm while watching tank upclose.

Giau, Steve really loved working on the stand for you. He got the opportunity to have our boys help him. He is trying to share some of his skills with them...it's hard to imagine our baby JD is 18 today...he loved working with his dad on this project.

That's even makes it more special now. They sure did a great job, it makes the tank stands out even more.I did not think Steve would have capentry skill too.
