I'm trying to starve out my cyano problems. I'm looking for all I can get right now. Anyone on the NE side have any they need to prune.

Sorry Jeff, I just saw this. Allan, I'll take out up on that. Let me know when you're back in town, you're pretty close to me.

I'm flying back in the morning. I will bs available after 1730 Thursday and Friday. And unless the wife has me doing stupid stuff this weekend I will be available through the day.

I've got to buzz out to kenyas place as well.

Teeb I had a whole sump full of cheato and a whole display tank full of caulerpa.
I don't think you can starve cyano out with macro. It will be there long after the macro croaked.
It will probably take an approach with multiple steps (lighting, flow, evaluating inputs, physical removal, etc.) to truly get it under control. :(

Yeah, Karin is right. I've got cyano and enough chaeto that I strain my back pulling it out. Just the same I've got some for you.

What I'm trying to do is shock it a little bit at a time. I just put 2 units of CPE in there yesterday, I'm going to syphon cyano, do a small water change and add a bunch of cheato at the same time. I'm hoping that's enough nutrient export, plus adding the cheato to eat more nutrients will help. The CPE has already made a small difference.
