(Acanthurus Tennenti)

He changes from white/gray to brownish black while swimming around...quickly became my favorite fish in the tank.

It is...he'll swim to the back and be black...then swim to the front and be white! I was not aware that these tangs did that. Soooo cool.

I like these alot. I plan on getting one for my new tank when that rolls around.

Nice tang. What's really super nice though is that red and green coral in the front. What is it? I so want one!

lol, I believe you are talking about the Tyree War Coral....? I love that coral....I had frags of it at the frag swap. The polyps on it are out all the time and super extended when the lights are out.

Well, he's definitely not shy and he killed my Yellow Tang! Argh. The yellow tang has been awesome for me and has been in my care for 2 years...so a little bummed.

Ohhh MAN! That stinks so bad! It is beautiful though. Its probably hard to like it right now though.

Thx for all the comments. Yeah it stinks....I miss the flashes of yellow now. The yellow tang really made my tank look like a natural reef.

The new guy is gorgeous though but he just doesn't have any deep colors like the Yellow Tang....they looked great together....but whatever....welcome to reef keeping right!?
