ok, just a little update....

my students have been working hard on their texas native species presentations and some of them will be attending to answer questions about their research.

my presentation will be part "this is what to do" and part "this is how you do it."

glen has a background in food and ornamental fish breeding including the first production of some very unique clownfish, so his presentation will be hobby related and beyond.

look forward to seeing everyone there, please dont forget to rsvp using the meeting announcement on the calendar.

It would be great to get maximum participation from our membership here to show support to the kids that will be presenting information. As a few of you know, it's not an easy task especially at that age. These little people will be a lot better for the expereince and I am looking forward to their presentations as much as Glen's presentation.

Lets show some support folks. :)

just thought i would add that the meeting will be in my classroom - room D28. the best way to get there is to enter the end of the hall on the o'connor road parking lot. because there is construction, the end of the hallway is not too easy to find, so we will have someone signage to let you know which way to go.

Great meeting! Glad to see everyone who showed. Big thanks to Ace for hosting and speaking, to Ace's wife Christy for putting together the snack spread, and to Glenn for sharing great info with our group!

Yes thanks go to all. Very interesting on how sometimes artemia can be substituted instead of rotifers. If my clowns ever start to spawn I want to try and rear a successful batch, just waiting on them... I also meant to ask about how long does it take for a clownfish to reach sexual maturity? I know it depends on the morphing into female but is there a general rule or something to go by?
