I was wondering why is a sponsor a sponsor and not offer a discount ?

I was going to order a RO/DI system from BUCKEYE and called to see how to use our discount, well they do not offer a discount to MAAST. Seems off to me but oh well.

Would really like a list of Discounts offered to us by Sponsors...
Can anyone direct me to the right place?

Sponsors are those companies that have paid to be able to advertise their business within MAAST. Their only obligation to MAAST is the sponsorship fee which can be paid with cash and up to 50% in gift certificates. Nothing more.

There's been some talk about creating a list of what stores and sponsors offer discounts, but I don't think it's come about yet.

as john said, we are in the process of putting together a list of the discounts each sponsor offers. one thing i can tell you is that most if not all of them require verification of charter membership.

cool, there is a thread in the charter forum where some of the sponsors have posted the discounts they offer. we are in the process of putting together a cumulative list that can be posted somewhere in the sponsorship area.

Rob, don't make waves here about such. Trust me on this!

Some get an extra 5% off. Let it go.

Some may even protest the 5% yet still take things for free.

Tread lightly. Don't be like me. :not_talking:
